The Board and Management Teams from Supported Options in Lifestyle and Access Services Ltd (SOLAS) and Mental Illness Fellowship North Queensland (MIFNQ) are delighted to announce the completion of their merger into one not-for-profit community mental health organisation, selectability.

After servicing the communities of northern and western Queensland for a combined 50 years, this new name and new look marks the start of a new era of innovative and quality supports, services and education.

The Board and Management Team of selectability is comprised of strategic leaders of both SOLAS and MIFNQ with extensive expertise in disability support, mental health, clinical practice and commercial experience.

selectability provides services in Cairns, Ingham, Townsville, Mackay, Charters Towers, Mt Isa and Palm Island.  The growing merged entity employs over 200 staff including Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, Social Workers, Support Workers/Carers, Trainers and Assessors.  They are a leading NDIS Registered Provider, with a wide and expanding footprint.

selectability owns and operates a training company called Jobtrain.  Jobtrain, in operation in Townsville for over 30 years, is a registered Training Organisation (RTO 0281) delivering high-quality vocational education and training in the areas of business, administration, computing, mental health, community services, leadership, book keeping, finance, customer service, workplace training, workplace assessment and more.

The merged organisation will steadily rebrand to selectability over the coming months.
